Episode takes place after the events of the game. Reference to the movie Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). Expanding the video game medium with content created by talented fans on an unlimited budget seems like a great idea, right?

The first 8 episodes were great, and each one embraced the universe they chose for it. I’ve seen critics say they didn’t take any chances with the show. Because I did, and it’s a good sign for the future, let’s hope it allows the video game medium to expand even further.

It’s filled with Easter eggs without the annoyance of a show that points me to every detail that screams at me. And in the world we live in, that’s already incredible. This is the first time that people who really love this game have taken the opportunity to expand the medium and make us, the fans, happy.

But it’s that even people who have never played the games can enjoy, understand, and empathize with the characters, and that seems like a big challenge that they overcame. The show has its obvious downsides, some episodes weren’t as great as others (I’m looking at you New World). Yes, some episodes were short, yes, some of the jokes were a little off, I never said it was perfect, it was just great.
